Call of Duty: WWII will be in stores two months from now. Many articles have covered the multiplayer and we have even already played it. Surprisingly, the single player campaign has seen hardly no coverage due to a lack of info from publisher Activision. However that has changed now.
The first single player trailer has been released. It shows us there is more to the game then just emptying your entire magazine clip into the enemy. The first footage lets us experience the story mode of Ronald ‘Red’ Daniels. This young American soldier leaves his homeland to free Europe from the German aggressor.
The single player will show us D-Day, the most historic event in World War 2. We have experienced the landing before in games, but never have the graphics been so realistic. Our expectations are that this is going to be an intense rollercoaster for the player.
After surviving the beaches of Normandy the campaign moves further inland. Iconic locations will pass such as the battle of the Ardennes, the Hürtgenwald and much more. Swastika’s and Jewish persecution are prominent in this game. Controverse is not something to shy away from and that will be shown in the game.
The multiplayer feels just like the old days and seen by the single player campaign trailer we can expect a lot from that as well. Accompanied by a great zombie-mode and there is a game fans have been screaming for for years.
Call of Duty: WWII appears on November 3rd for Playstation 4, Xbox One and PC.
