Attack on Titan 2 game set for release early 2018

The second season of the Japanese anime Attack on Titan has come to an end. With the third instalment already in the works it is time to expand the franchise with another game. Developer Omega Force, backed by publisher Tecmo Koei, plans to release Attack on Titan 2 early 2018.

Attack on Titan 2 (North America) / A.O.T.2 (Europe) appears to be a direct follow-up to the Attack on Titan: Wings of Freedom game, which was released last year. Not much is yet known about the game, but players can expect the same fast-paced action combat from the first game and the series. Players will make use of the Omni-Directional Mobility Gear to battle against the Titans and to restore balance within the walls.

Tecmo Koei has confirmed Attack on Titan 2 will be available to Playstation 4 and Xbox One. No information is given about a release for PC or Switch-port. The previous game Attack on Titans: Wings of Freedom appeared on PC, Playstation 4, Xbox One and the Playstation Vita.

We will keep you informed when more about the game is unveiled in the next weeks. The teaser can be seen right here.
