Yet a new race release for Total War: Warhammer II. The Skaven have been added to the roster. Publisher Sega announced: “Now, their time of prophecy is upon us, and this verminous Race have emerged to spread pestilence and mayhem across the face of the new World.” These subterranean dwellers are vastly numerous.
This race is one of the most played factions in the Warhammer board games and has become a fan favourite for years. These subterranean dwellers are vastly numerous and will join the High Elves, Dark Elves, and the Lizardmen as a new playable faction in the new expansion for the Total War: Warhammer serie. In addition, the Norscans are also already made available by pre-ordering the second part in the Total War: Warhammer series or can be bought seperately.
Creative Assembly announced earlier that it wants to combine both campaign maps from Warhammer and Warhammer II. Players with both titles in possession will have free acces to this new campaign map. The release date for this new campaign map will be “shortly after” the Total War: Warhammer II launch. All races from previous base content will be playable together with any downloaded content.
Total War: Warhammer II has a launch date for PC on September 28th. In the meanwhile, developer Creative Assembly announced they are also working on a new historical Total War game.
